Our Starter Journey is all about you. Your teacher will take the time to understand how your body moves, what you’ve got going on, and what you want to feel like. No assumptions. No rushing. Just a proper, personalised introduction to Pilates.

By the end of your two private sessions you’ll know exactly what your body is capable of, and exactly where to go next. It’s the most supported, no-pressure way to start, whatever your age, fitness level, or history with your body.

Two private sessions. Just you and your instructor. Plus one group mat class & one group reformer class when you’re ready. $165 (normally $252).

Do I need any experience to do the Onebodi Starter Journey?

Beginning is designed specifically for people who are brand new to Pilates or coming back after a long break. Your two private sessions are entirely built around where you’re at right now.

Because walking into a class when you don’t know the movements yet is a lot. Two sessions with your instructor means you learn the foundations properly, your instructor gets to know your body, and when you do move into classes, you’ll feel more confident.

Comfortable, fitted clothing you can move in. Bare feet or grip socks are best. No special gear needed.

No. That’s one of the most common things people say before they start. Pilates meets you where you are. Flexibility and strength come with time.

In most cases, yes. Pilates is often one of the best things you can do. Just let us know in the booking form, and Michelle will make sure your sessions are designed around you safely.

Nothing unless you want it to. There’s no obligation to continue. But most people do because they feel the difference. Michelle will chat with you about the best next step once you’ve had your sessions.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS - MAT & REFORMER

Mat -Intermediate

A strong flowing class with intermediate and some advanced exercises. Michelle & Lisa teach the Classical method and Cindy teaches the Fletcher method bringing you the best Pilates has to offer.

Mat - Int - Advanced

Strong Classical Intermediate - advanced flowing class. Control, precision and a good understanding of the exercises is required. This class has become popular with our guys who are looking for a strong class and also some stretching. Open to all though! This class is not for those with injuries.

Mat - Modified

Focusing on balance, mobility, co-ordination and core work. Also suits those with osteoperosis, back and hip injuries, arthritis.


Mat - Pilates Stretch

Pilates with held stretches sprinkled through the class. Finish with approx 10 minutes relaxation & breath work. Many intermediate and advanced clients have added this class to their weekly practise.

Mat - Open Mat

Open level mat class is tailored to the level of who is at class on the day. Challenges & options provided for your needs.


Reformer - Level 1

Next step from Starter Journey sessions & those new to Pilates versus fitness reformer.This class gives detailed instruction to help you get the most of your session with a full body workout.

Reformer - Level 2

You know the level one exercises well and are ready to add more challenge. Your balance is good. You are confident in Level 1 Reformer and ready to take your practise to the next level.
